The new Smart Latch has burst onto the market and has become incredibly popular in a short space of time, and there is now a Smart Bolt available to go with the Smart Latch - but what is a Smart Bolt and how does it differ from a Smart Latch?
The Smart Latch is a traditional tubular latch and can be used as a latch on internal doors. The Smart Bolt is a tubular dead bolt that has been developed with the same round end plate and fitting process of the Smart Latch, but is used on bathroom doors to lock the door. The new Smart Bolt has the same backset as the Smart Latch so they will line up perfectly when fitted, and it accepts a 5mm square spindle so it is compatible with most turn & releases on the market today.
