The Simpson Strong Tie JHM is a masonry hanger, for supporting timber joists, beams and trussed rafters from masonry walls. The Simpson JHM hanger features a handy inspection slot at the bottom of the hanger to aid easy inspection from the ground. The traditional masonry hanger has been somewhat superseded by heavy duty face fix hangers such as the Simpson SAE hangers, as they are easier to fit and can have the timber beam loaded into them sooner after installation.
